Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancel or reschedule using the link in your confirmation email, or by sending a message.

There is no cancellation fee for a donation-based session at any notice period. Cancelling early simply frees the time for someone else, which is appreciated but not required.

If you paid a donation in advance and cancel without rebooking, you can request it back at any time by writing to Placeholder: CONTACT EMAIL.

If Meg cancels a session, anything paid is refunded in full or carried to the next session, whichever you prefer.

Cancelling more than Placeholder: CANCELLATION WINDOW before the start time: full refund.

Cancelling inside that window: your place can be transferred to another date, or to another person, at no cost. A cash refund inside the window is at Meg's discretion, because materials will usually have been bought.

If Meg cancels a workshop, or reschedules it to a date you cannot make, you receive a full refund.

For outdoor workshops cancelled for weather, you choose between a full refund and the next available date.

Original artwork and commissioned pieces are not returnable for change of mind, because they are one of a kind and made individually.

Prints, books and handmade objects can be returned within Placeholder: RETURNS WINDOW of delivery, unused and in their original packaging, for a refund of the item price. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty or not as described.

Anything that arrives damaged, faulty or not as described is replaced or refunded in full, including postage. Send a photograph to Placeholder: CONTACT EMAIL within Placeholder: DAMAGE REPORT WINDOW of delivery.

Downloadable items cannot be returned once the download link has been used, because the file cannot be given back.

If a file will not open, is the wrong item, or is not as described, it is replaced or refunded in full.

The deposit secures the making time and covers materials. It is refundable up to Placeholder: COMMISSION DEPOSIT REFUND WINDOW after the first conversation, and not after work has begun.

If the finished piece is not what you hoped for, Meg will work with you on it. If it still is not right, you are not obliged to pay the balance and the piece stays with Meg.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within Placeholder: REFUND PROCESSING TIME of being approved. Bank processing can add a few days on top of that.
