Weaving as Meditation
Three hours at a small frame loom, working slowly enough that the hands lead and the thinking quietens.

An unstructured studio day. Bring something you are working on, or start something here.
The studio is open, the kettle is on, and there is no curriculum. People bring knitting, sketchbooks, half-finished weaving, mending, letters they have been avoiding writing.
Meg is present the whole time and happy to help with any of the materials in the room, but she is not teaching. This is closer to a shared table than a class.
It suits people who make more when there is quiet company nearby than when they are alone at home.
Join the waitlist and Meg will contact people in order if a place opens up. Being on it commits you to nothing.

Three hours at a small frame loom, working slowly enough that the hands lead and the thinking quietens.

10:00 am – 2:00 pm
A half-day of colour, paper and no finished piece — for people who stopped making things a long time ago.

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Weave a small piece using fabric from something that mattered — a shirt, a blanket, a scrap kept in a drawer.
