Weaving as Meditation
Three hours at a small frame loom, working slowly enough that the hands lead and the thinking quietens.

Weave a small piece using fabric from something that mattered — a shirt, a blanket, a scrap kept in a drawer.
Bring a piece of cloth that carries something for you. We cut it into strips and weave it into a small hanging you can take home.
This workshop tends to sit closer to the surface than the others. There is time set aside to talk, and equal permission not to. Nobody is asked to explain what their cloth is.
If the object you are thinking of feels too tender to cut, bring it anyway — you can weave alongside it instead of with it.
